Creating a website, whether for your home business or for pleasure, is easy with Kompozer. In this video we will take a look at some of the basic features of Kompozer. With Kompozer you can build a website without an intimate knowledge of HTML. It has a fairly good help center that you can access by clicking the “Help Contents” link under the “Help” section of the menu near the top of the program or by pressing the F1 button on your keyboard with the program open.

The following video will show you how to use some of the basic features in Kompozer. Download Kompozer, install it and follow along the video. You can pause the video and try using the features for yourself. You will be surprised how easy it is.

This is the first of a series of videos that will show you exactly how you can create a website using Kompozer, a free, open source html authoring system with a wysiwyg (what you see is what you get) editor.

The videos will allow anyone with basic computer skills to build a decent website for fun or profit. Create a website to showcase your favorite pet (I happen to love dogs…) or start a home business as a hedge against these uncertain economic times. Go for it!
